Scanstrut's Tom Reed (right) presented Global Growth 2016 Award from sponsor Old Mill
Scanstrut has again had its product design and manufacturing capabilities recognised, with the presentation of a Global Growth 2016 Award.
Our reputation for creating innovative products for the marine and outdoors environment has set Scanstrut firmly on the map as a market-leader in fabricating products that enable the unlimited use of electronics in the harshest of conditions.
We now operate in 40 countries around the world, with 80% of products being exported to overseas territories including the USA, Europe and Asia Pacific.
Collecting the prize at South West Business Insider’s awards ceremony in Bristol last week, Managing Director Tom Reed said: “This award is thanks to a fantastic team effort and reflects our in-house skills and capabilities. It’s great to be recognised for our aptitude in designing and manufacturing products that have a global reach. We’ve developed key partnerships with about 50 international distributors, and the list is growing.”
The award comes a week after Scanstrut won a British patent for one of its latest designs, the unique Lifedge 100% waterproof phone and tablet case.
Hosting the awards, editor of South West Business Insider Graham Southorn said: “We were really impressed with the way Scanstrut has taken advantage of new opportunities to grow its business and grabbed them with both hands. The recently granted patent for Lifedge demonstrates how innovative the company is.”
