The IPX6 waterproof 12/24V Qi certified waterproof wireless charging range enables wireless charging for the outdoor environment, without the need for phone charging cables. Designed from the ground up, this is the world’s first waterproof wireless charge system created specifically for use onboard, with the unique technology is housed in an IPX6, fully encapsulated and sealed unit.

Our testing standard at Scanstrut is encapsulated by the acronym SCA, which stands for Safe, Certified, and Approved. With over 35 years of experience and expertise in designing products for outdoor use, we design our products to be able to thrive in the harshest of outdoor environments.

Before any product is released, it must pass through our rigorous testing program which involves assessments in electrical, mechanical, U.V., corrosion, thermal, and waterproof categories. To ensure the highest level of accuracy, testing is conducted both internally and by independent ISO accredited test houses.

QI

The world’s No.1 wireless charging standard, this ensures our chargers are built to an extreme level of safety and ensures compatibility of all phones.

IP Test

Water and dust protection under test laboratory conditions to international IP standards. We test between IPX4 (waterjet) and IP68 (submersion).

Accelerated UV Material Test

We accelerate the effects of UV exposure to replicate our products usage in extreme tropical climates. We do this to ensure parts do not become brittle, discolour or fail over time.

Cable Bend Test

Electrical products are bolted into a specially designed automated jig to mechanically bend the cable -45° to +45° for 3000 cycles. This ensures cables will not fail even after prolonged use.

Thermal Chamber Test

Laboratory chamber running from -40°C (-40°F) to +85°C (185°F) and back to -40°C (-40°F) for 120 cycles, this accelerates material ageing to simulate real world environment.

Cable Twist Test

Electrical products are bolted into a specially designed automated jig to mechanically twist the cable -45° to +45° for 3000 cycles. This ensures cables will not fail even after prolonged use.

Temperature Chamber Test

Product placed in a laboratory chamber at high temperatures to ensure our products continue to perform as designed.

Corrosion Test

100-hours of a special formula salt spray that simulates accelerated marine environmental effects on the product.

On Water Charge Test

Using real life on water temperature data to ensure devices will continue to charge at an acceptable speed in extreme cold and hot temperatures.

Similar to SCA standard on water testing, however we select locations and vessels for more varied and challenging environmental conditions.

Finite Element Analysis, simulates the behaviour of the design in virtual conditions to allow us to optimise the design before prototyping and physical testing.

Le chargeur caché peut-il traverser n’importe quel matériau ?

Le chargeur caché peut se charger à travers n’importe quelle surface, à condition qu’elle ne soit pas métallique et qu’elle soit détourée pour ne laisser que 3 mm de matériau.

La recharge sans fil est-elle sûre lorsque le chargeur est mouillé ?

Oui, la charge qui traverse de l’eau pour atteindre votre téléphone n’est pas dangereuse pour vous ou votre téléphone.

Est-ce que je peux l’utiliser pour charger ma tablette ?

La gamme sans fil de ROKK a été conçue pour charger uniquement des téléphones, bien qu’il existe quelques tablettes à chargement sans fil sur le marché, une puissance de 5 W n’est pas suffisante pour charger complètement un appareil à grand écran comme une tablette.

Dois-je utiliser l’anneau de préhension en caoutchouc inclus dans l’emballage pour que le chargeur fonctionne ?

Non, l’anneau de préhension sert uniquement de marqueur ou de poignée pour votre téléphone. Vous pouvez marquer la surface vous-mêmes ou la laisser complètement propre, il est juste plus facile d’aligner votre téléphone avec la partie centrale du chargeur avec un indicateur sur la surface du chargeur.

Qu’est-ce que la charge Qi™ ?

Qi™ est une technologie sans fil qui utilise la recharge par induction. La gamme sans fil de ROKK a été conçue pour être compatible avec la norme Qi. Qi a été adopté par Apple, Samsung et toutes les autres grandes marques de téléphones.

Pourquoi la charge n’est-elle pas rapide ?

Les chargeurs rapides de 10 W ne chargent pas le téléphone deux fois plus vite que ceux de 5 W, ils sont généralement moins efficaces. Le chargeur de 10 W génère plus de chaleur, ce qui, combinée à un environnement en plein air, est susceptible de déclencher la fonction de sécurité de coupure thermique de votre téléphone. Nous avons pris la décision d’utiliser la technologie de 5 W qui peut fournir une charge légèrement plus lente, mais qui permet à votre téléphone de continuer à être utilisé et à charger en extérieur.

Peut-on l’installer en utilisant l’alimentation secteur ?

La gamme ROKK Wireless est conçue pour les systèmes électriques de 12/24 V, mais nous pouvons fournir des transformateurs qui permettent de les adapter à une alimentation secteur.
